About Exeed ES

The ES is Exeed's electrified flagship saloon in the UAE, 4.94 metres long and rear-wheel drive, offered either as a range-extender or as a pure battery car. Both drive on electricity — the difference is where the electricity comes from.

How much does the Exeed ES cost in the UAE?

The 2026 list is really two decisions in one. Two range-extender versions start at AED 149,999 for the REEV Pro, and the battery-only BEV Ultra sits well above them at AED 219,999. That gap is the price of removing the petrol engine, so the ladder is about how you want to fuel the car rather than how well equipped you want it.

Which ES is the one to buy?

A range-extender, unless you can charge where you park. Those versions carry a small petrol engine that exists only to generate electricity, so the car never depends on finding a charger, and they cost markedly less. The battery-only car is the better ownership experience if home charging is settled and most of your driving is local.

Do you have to charge an Exeed ES?

Only the battery-only version needs it. On a range-extender the petrol engine tops the battery up as you drive, so a long trip is refuelled at any pump and nothing about the journey has to be planned. Charging at home simply makes the daily kilometres cheaper. Treat the charger as a way to save money rather than a condition of ownership.

Exeed ES or Exeed RX?

The ES is the more advanced and more comfortable car, and the one to have if your driving is predictable enough for electric running to pay: it is quieter, longer and cheaper per kilometre than anything with only an engine. The RX is the conventional turbocharged alternative for less money and no charging question at all, while the ET puts the same electrified hardware into a taller body.

What is an Exeed ES worth later, and what should a used buyer check?

Modelled retention is about 53% at five years and 68% at three, roughly a point clear of the Chinese-brand average here on both counts. That is a car keeping pace with its segment rather than beating it. The things that move an individual car's price are the battery's condition and whether the petrol generator has been serviced on schedule, neither of which the odometer tells you — the inspection report on that specific car does.

Work out where the car sleeps before you choose between them — a socket at that address decides this more than any specification does. The used ES listings answer the same question from the other end.
