The RX is the car that created the luxury crossover, and the RX350 is its mainstream version — two rows, front-biased handling, and running costs closer to a family SUV than to a German equivalent.

Which used Lexus RX350 year should you buy?

Know which of two very different cars you are looking at. From 2016 the RX took on the sharply creased body and a much stiffer structure, and that generation ran to 2022 with a V6. The Audi Q7 undercuts the RX with a third row, but shows mechanical faults in 35% of cars against a 24% expectation for its class. On running costs the Lexus wins comfortably.
