About Rolls-Royce Spectre

The Spectre is the first electric Rolls-Royce and, less obviously, the first two-door the company has built on its current aluminium architecture. It replaces the V12 coupés with a 102 kWh battery and four-wheel drive, and it is the heaviest car in the range.

How much does the Rolls-Royce Spectre cost in the UAE?

One coupé specification is listed, at AED 3,500,000, which makes it the most expensive car the marque sells here — the rest of the range runs from AED 1,690,000 to AED 2,415,000. As with every Rolls-Royce, the commissioning list sits on top of that figure rather than inside it.

What does the electric powertrain change?

Mostly it removes things. There is no gearbox to shift, no idle, no engine note to suppress, so the Spectre is quieter than the V12 cars it descends from. Against the Phantom it is the sharper car to drive. It is quoted at 577 BHP and 900 Nm, reaches 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and seats four under a 5,433 mm body with a 454-litre boot.

How practical is charging one here?

Straightforward, because the car is almost always charged where it is parked. A 102 kWh battery on a home or building wall box covers normal use overnight, and public rapid charging is a fallback for longer runs rather than the routine. Charge to a partial state day to day and fill it only before a long drive.

Rolls-Royce Spectre or BMW i7?

The Spectre is the more special object by a distance — two doors, a bespoke body, and a silence the saloons cannot match. That is what the premium buys. The BMW i7 shares some engineering thinking, seats five, costs a fraction as much and is the more sensible electric car; it simply is not the same event.

Configure it around how you will charge it, then commission the paint and the interior as one decision.
