About ZEEKR X

The Zeekr X is the small one: a 4,432 mm electric crossover on the same platform as several Volvo and Smart models, with a 66 kWh battery and, in top form, 428 BHP and a 3.8-second sprint.

How much does the Zeekr X cost in the UAE?

There are only two versions, and they sit closer together than the equipment gap suggests: the Premium RWD at AED 170,900 and the Flagship AWD at AED 185,900. When a walk-up costs less than the options pack on a German rival, the usual advice to save money on the base car stops applying.

Which Zeekr X trim is the one to buy?

The Flagship AWD, on that arithmetic. It adds a second motor, all-wheel drive and the equipment upgrades for a difference the used market will not remember in three years. The rear-drive car is the more efficient one and the better choice if range matters more than acceleration — but it is a close-run thing.

Zeekr X or BYD Atto 3?

The Zeekr is the more expensive car and feels it: better materials, a sharper chassis and performance the class does not usually offer. The BYD Atto 3 is roomier inside for the money and comes from a brand with a longer local track record. The Tesla Model 3 is the one to consider if charging convenience outranks cabin quality.

What does a Zeekr X cost to run in the UAE?

Very little, and a small battery is an advantage rather than a compromise on a car used mostly in town — it fills faster and costs less to fill. Home charging covers the ordinary week. There is no oil service to book. After-sales runs through the brand's authorised importer, so check the battery warranty and the service pricing before you order.

How does a Zeekr X age, and what is it worth later?

On value it does well — roughly 50% after five years and 66% after three, against about 44% and 61% for premium electric cars in the Emirates. On condition, the honest checks for a recent electric car are the battery's measured state of health and what remains of its warranty, both of which move a price further than mileage does. Ask for them on the individual car's inspection report.

Where does the Zeekr X fall short?

The 362-litre boot is the practical limit of the car, so make sure it fits your life before the price convinces you. On a used example the checks are battery state of health, software version and the condition of the paint and trim after a few summers here — all of which belong in an inspection report on the individual car rather than a spec sheet.

Take the all-wheel-drive version out first; the price gap makes the slower car harder to justify than it should be.
