The M5 Touring is the estate version of BMW's fast saloon, and the UAE is one of the few markets outside Europe to get it. A V8, the M division's full chassis hardware, and a load bay long enough to make the whole thing slightly absurd.
How much does the BMW M5 cost in the UAE?
AED 660,000 covers the only 2026 M5 on the UAE list, the Touring Masterclass. There is no saloon alternative and no lower trim on the UAE list, so the estate body and the top equipment grade arrive as a package. Only the electric flagship sits above it in BMW's range here.
Why buy the Touring rather than a saloon?
Because there is no saloon on offer here, and because the estate is arguably the better car anyway. It seats 5, adds a genuinely large load area and gives away nothing meaningful in pace or balance to the four-door. The rarity is part of the appeal — an M5 estate is a far less common sight than an M5 saloon.
BMW M5 or Audi RS 6?
These two are the only real answer to each other, and the M5 is the more engaging of the pair, with a chassis that will rotate and a driver-configurable setup that goes deeper. The Audi RS 6 is the more effortless car in a straight line and the more discreet to look at, with traction that makes it easier to use hard. The 760i is the comfort-first alternative at similar money.
What does a BMW M5 cost to run in the UAE?
Expensively, and fuel is the least of it — a two-tonne V8 estate on M brakes and wide tyres puts every consumable in the top bracket, and insurance follows the performance rather than the body style. Which distributor you deal with — AGMC or Abu Dhabi Motors — follows the emirate you register in. Ask about M-trained technicians before the first service.
Does the BMW M5 hold its value in the UAE?
Close to its benchmark, at about 57% after three years and 39% after five, against roughly 60% and 43% for German premium saloons here — a good outcome for a specialised car in a small niche. The M5s CarSwitch inspects come in at a median of around 90,000 km, so the service record and the state of the brakes and tyres are what the report on any individual car needs to establish.
Drive one before you decide the estate body is a compromise — it is the more interesting of the two shapes. Then repeat the exercise across the used BMWs currently listed.
