About Toyota Supra

A rear-drive, two-seat coupe with a turbocharged straight-six and a shape drawn to look like the car it is named after: the GR Supra is the least practical thing Toyota sells in the UAE and the most deliberate. Three trims, all automatic, all built around the same drivetrain. Toyota revived the nameplate after a seventeen-year gap and engineered the car jointly with BMW, which is where the straight-six comes from.

How much does the Toyota Supra cost in the UAE?

Three 2026 trims are offered, priced at AED 238,900 for the GR 3.0L A/T through to AED 259,900 for the GR 3.0L Track Edition. Because the engine is identical across all of them, that narrow band buys chassis tuning and trim rather than performance.

Which Supra trim is the one to buy?

The base GR 3.0L A/T for most buyers, because it carries the full 3.0 L straight-six and the same Automatic gearbox as the rest. The GR 3.0L Track Edition above it sharpens the chassis for drivers who will use it on a circuit; on public roads the difference is small and the ride penalty is not.

Toyota Supra or Nissan Z?

The Supra is the more complete car: better damped, sharper through a corner, better finished inside, and it holds about 62% of its value after five years against roughly 55% for mainstream Japanese cars here. The Nissan Z is the more characterful buy and offers a manual gearbox the Supra range here does not. The Toyota 86 is the cheaper way into the same idea.

What does a Toyota Supra cost to run in the UAE?

More than a Toyota badge implies, less than a European coupe of the same pace. Fuel is about 10 Km/L if you are gentle, warranty cover runs three years or 100,000 km, and Al-Futtaim Motors handles servicing in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Tyres are the real running cost on a car with this much power.

Does the Toyota Supra hold its value, and what should you watch for as it ages?

Strongly — about 62% of its value after five years, well clear of the roughly 55% typical of mainstream Japanese cars here, because supply is limited and demand for the nameplate is not. That strength cuts both ways on a used one: modified cars are common in this segment, and remapped engines, aftermarket suspension and track use are the things to establish before you buy. An inspection report on the individual car is where you find out.

Decide whether you want the standard car or the track-focused one, then compare specifications before you commit — the drivetrain is the same either way. A used example is the same car for less commitment — see the used Toyotas listed now.
