The RX350 is the turbocharged petrol version of the fifth-generation Lexus RX — a 2.4-litre four making 275 BHP, replacing the V6 that powered this model for four generations. The 2022 car was a complete redesign, with a new platform, a much better cabin and considerably tighter body control.
How much does the Lexus RX350 cost in the UAE?
Two specifications sharing one drivetrain: AED 287,000 for the Prestige 2.4L and AED 327,000 for the F Sport 2.4L. The engine, the gearbox and the underlying chassis do not change, so the money between them buys a chassis and appearance package, larger wheels and additional cabin equipment rather than any extra performance.
Which Lexus RX350 trim is the one to buy?
Prestige, for most buyers. It has the cabin, the screen and the driver-assistance suite that make this generation of RX worth choosing, and its smaller wheels ride noticeably better on broken tarmac. F Sport firms the damping and sharpens the steering response, which suits the turbo engine's character but costs some of the comfort that is the RX's central appeal.
Lexus RX350 or Lexus RX350h?
The RX350 if you want the more responsive car — the turbocharged four has a stronger mid-range and feels more urgent when you ask it to move. The RX350h is quieter at low speed, considerably cheaper to fuel in traffic and, on current numbers, much stronger at resale. The wider RX range compares all three drivetrains.
Does the Lexus RX350 hold its value, and what should you watch for as it ages?
This is the weak spot, and worth knowing before you buy: about 42% of its value after five years, behind the 52% typical of UAE SUVs and the same figure across Lexus locally, with about 59% still there at three years. The RX350s CarSwitch inspects run to a median of around 100,000 km with no notable fault pattern, so the depreciation reflects the market rather than the car. Read the inspection report and buy on condition.
A claimed 12 Km/L keeps fuel bills down and Al-Futtaim Lexus covers sales and service in Dubai and Abu Dhabi; given the curve, the used RX350 listings are worth a serious look.
