The 600LT is the Longtail version of McLaren's smaller car: a longer body, more downforce, less weight, and exhausts that exit through the top of the rear deck. It is the most track-focused of the Sports Series cars.
How much does the McLaren 600LT cost in the UAE?
One specification is listed at AED 1,383,900, above the standard coupés and close to the Super Series car — the range as a whole runs AED 682,500 to AED 4,580,000. The premium buys lightweight components and aerodynamics rather than a higher level of equipment.
What does the Longtail treatment change?
Everything about the way the car behaves. Quoted at 592 BHP and 620 Nm with 2.9 seconds to 100 km/h, it is quicker than the standard car, but the real differences are the extra 74 mm of body length, the stiffer suspension and the aerodynamic load — this is a car set up for a circuit and driven on the road as a compromise.
McLaren 600LT or 720S?
The 600LT is the more engaging car at legal speeds and the more special one to own — lighter, louder and rarer. The 720S is faster in every measurable way and far more comfortable over distance; the 570S is the calmer version of the 600LT's own platform.
What is a 600LT like to live with?
Firm, loud and about 6 Km/L. The suspension settings and the seats are unapologetic, so this is a weekend car rather than a commuter. Tyres and brakes wear at the rate the setup encourages, servicing runs through the authorised network, and a complete history matters more on a limited-run model than on a standard one.
Drive one over a rough road before you buy — the 600LT's compromises are real, and they are the point.
