The F8 Spider is the open version of Ferrari's final non-hybrid mid-engined V8 car. The roof is a folding hardtop rather than fabric, so with it raised the car is close to as quiet and as stiff as the coupé.
How much does the Ferrari F8 Spider cost in the UAE?
A single specification at AED 1,250,855, which sits mid-range locally — the other Ferraris run from AED 955,500 to AED 2,000,500. The Spider commands very little over the fixed-roof car, which is unusual and makes the open version the easier one to argue for.
What does the folding roof cost you?

F8 Spider or F8 Tributo?
Buy the Spider if the car is for evenings and winter weekends, which is most of how these cars are used here — the engine is directly behind your head and audible in a way no coupé matches. The F8 Tributo is the stiffer, lighter and slightly cheaper car, and the better choice if it will be driven hard. The newer 296 is quicker than both.
What should you plan for as an owner?

Exercise the roof mechanism regularly and have it checked at every service — it is the one system on an open car that is expensive to neglect. Authorised servicing and a complete file are what protect the car's future value.
How well does the Ferrari F8 Spider hold its value?

Open-topped Ferraris have not suffered the discount that convertibles attract further down the market.
